彼得前书

今天我要写的是关于圣经里的彼得前书。我想学着用英文加华语来表达我想说的。

First, I am going to talk about the Chapter 3 : 3-4."Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight." In Chinese is "你们不要以外面的辫头发，戴金饰，穿美衣为妆饰，只要以里面存着长久温柔，安静的心为妆饰，这在神面前是极宝贵的。" When I saw these sentences, I remember of the college I am studying now. Inside my college, there is a lot of pretty girls. Many of them put on make up, dress pretty and carry branded stuffs to school everyday. Yeah, they are pretty but their pretty is not the type of the beauty that God wanted. Those that don't put make up but uses their inner beauty and good behavior are the ones that last long. Our appearance will begin to fade in time no matter how much effort you put to keep it. All what we do is just to slow down the process of aging. But those inner beauty doesn't fade. Those beauty are the one that will last for eternity. I admit I like to look at pretty girls. But those put make up to keep their beauty sometimes really make me feel ignored cause, college is a school , a place to study and they feel like their main purpose is not to study but to find their future money sources or "金龟婿" .

The second which also is the last for this post is chapter 4 : 8-10. " Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." In Chinese is "最要紧的是彼此切实相爱，因为爱可以遮掩许多的罪。你们要互相款待，不发怨言。各人要照所得的恩赐彼此服侍，作神百般恩赐的好管家" All our gift is given by our God. Every person is given unique gift by our God to make the world a more interesting place and most importantly is to use our gift to serve others and our God. Some people are gifted in sport, some in designing and developing new idea and many more. We use our gift to serve each other in Jesus Christ. I don't really know what my gift is cause I still have no idea what am I good at. But it will some day show up. We sometime refer our gift as talents cause that is what we good at. Love is another thing that is mentioned. Love can cover many sins. We love our God, our family, our relatives, our friends and our lovers. If every one loves each other deeply, then there might not be any war at all. We love our family, our love ones.No matter many things they did wrong, we forgive them and we face the worst with them because they are the ones that we love deeply. Another thing is that we should serve and help others willingly and not grumbling behind or inside our heart when we help them.
