As I said before, I was addicted to English worship songs after attending the Praise In Union event. The songs that I addicted most is "Awesome God" by Rich Mullins and "Lord, I offer my life to you". Those two are the songs that I love most. I will write about one song this week and the other next week.
In "Awesome God", the tone is more approach a rock type of music with powerful voice by Rich Mullins. The Chorus is the most stunning part of the whole song. "Our God is an awesome God, He reigns from heaven above, with wisdom, power and love. That is the three things that normal human being like us can't master in our lives. There is very few of us can master all three of the elements. Even the great leaders that are giving out commands and organizes the systems in our world, will lack the mastery of one from the above elements.
God's wisdom is far beyond our imagination. There is many things that happened in our lives. All of these things are arranged by God Himself. He uses His wisdom to organize our lives. From where we born, which family we born in to our personality. He arranges every thing there for a reason. So even it seems to be the end of the world, we must stay strong and fight against it. Cause That is the barrier and test given by God to prepare us for harder challenges. Those who take on the challenges and overcome it will found that the test they pass is something that the God set there to train us both physically, mentally, and spiritually.
God's power is unlimited. He uses 6 days to create the world we live in now. He creates all the living and non living things in this world. He gives them lives and different features. Birds have wings that no other living things other than birds have it. It allows them to fly in the sky to add color to the big, blue sky. Fish is given the ability to breath in water to add movement and life in the seas and rivers. Human, animals and plants is given life so that the earth can be fill with life and color. God created all these things that no person in the world can do it.
God's love is selfless. We can see this when He sent His only son, Jesus Christ, to the human world and to be died on the cross in order to clean all our sins. When our ancestors first commit sins in the Eden, God did not kill them like He said before. He release them out of the Eden to the world. We are criminals that full of sins. Without Jesus Christ's sacrifice, we will still be criminals and we can't be join with our Lord in heaven. We can see the greatness of the love of our God. We are gifted with the ability to love and care for others. We love our children, our lovers, our family, our country, and our God. In our lives, we will meet the one we loved. He/she is the chosen one for us and is a gift for us from the God.
